Jussi Majamaa has worked in investment banking since 1996, with Nordic banks in Helsinki and London and with a global investment bank in the London City. Jussi acted as a head of M&A for Pohjola Bank’s (now OP Bank’s) corporate finance business 2008-2014. In 2014, Jussi founded Sisu Partners and where he worked us a partner until September 2020. Origo Partners Oy was established in 2005, and the company started to do active business again in 2021.

Jussi has extensive experience in originating and executing of all types of M&A transactions, public share issues and private placements.

Over the years, Jussi has established a broad network of business relationships in Finland and internationally.

In recent years, Jussi has executed transactions particularly in retail and wholesale, healthcare, industry, foodservices, and tech, yet he considers himself as generalist in M&A with keen interest in ECM. Over the years, Jussi has also done and extensive amount of work in debt advisory and distressed M&A space.

Jussi loves deal-making, feeling very privileged and responsible to work with clients through what is often their most business critical and important transaction and where he can make a difference.

When he is not busy in the office, Jussi loves sea kayaking, snowboarding, reading books and travelling.
